Biography

Belinda Persoglia is an Australian artist creating modern abstract art. Several years ago she took a leap of faith and decided to follow her dream to create art. Residing in Sydney, Belinda works primarily with acrylic paints, collage and oils on both canvas and boards. Her body of work is comprised of textures, lines, marks, text and symbols, that is coupled with an emphasis on space. Her paintings are contemporary alchemy and a reflection of her child-animal vision which lends to a style that is both whimsical and profound, delicate and bold. Belinda's paintings are an invitation to re-experience what has been forgotten; the unconscious. They are an investigation of being that transforms the fabric of everydayness into the exotic and universal.

Biography

Mary Claire began young life with paper and art supplies always in hand. She thus attended Winthrop University to study Fine Arts with the intention of being an artist but with no real direction or voice. After a brief deviation from her passions to study law, she returned to art once her kids began to grow up. As both a practicing lawyer and artist, she finds the left brain/right brain blend improves the way she handles the tasks she is faced with. Being a Lawyer is relentlessly analytic, and she finds it lends her the ability whilst painting to make careful selections in mark making, value, color, and composition. This allows her to achieve a very specific result while editing the intuitive painting strokes; that are the very essence of her creative pursuit. The result is a beautiful balance of intuition and thought in each piece. Mary Claire grew up in the countryside in South Carolina and spent much of her youth hiking and wandering in the woods. She now draws much of her artistic inspiration from this passion - which she continues to practice. She seeks daily solace walking in the forest either alone or with her dog and kids. Her current artistic practice seeks the same sense of wonder and magic she feels when there. She is interested in creating a distinct mood and emotion within each piece, to create a dialogue with the observer and bring the collector’s vision to life.

NUMAN POST

Numan

20-30/4/23

In the near future, influenced by considerable changes in the field of technology, humanity recognizes itself as an art form, distorting today's concept of it and contributing as a tool for a more complete culture. Traditional, modern and contemporary art evolves in an in-depth recognition of the human in relation to nature, becoming the scenario and protagonist of a new movement. Digital art will be projected into every environment, the body will become the true artistic protagonist. A great transition in civilization needs a change of perception: the computer, what we call Artificial Intelligence, will be the spectator of the exhibitions. It will no longer be us who go to see an exhibition, but technology will learn by itself to recognize us as an art form.

In this future, the concept of "exhibition" is different, in fact the spectator becomes the protagonist. The YAH Factory gallery will host individuals who will undo their now obsolete vision to approach direct participation. In the two rooms, the gallery will change shape, introducing a divider between the introduction to this evolution (in the first room) and its actual realization (in the second). The exhibition includes the use of wall projections of experimental video art and refractions through mirrors, an engaging 360° sound experience. The main sensation that viewers will recognize is belonging to a new, fantastic place, like a "mind room" where to be the focus.

⁕ get inside your ego and dissolve it ⁕ ⁕ ideas are not the truth ⁕ ⁕ you are ready to give up art ⁕ ⁕ lose yourself to eat anything ⁕

Biography

Bjørg-Elise Tuppen is a visual artist, photographer and sculptor who lives in Harstad, where she also has her art studio. She has degrees in art from the University of Hertfordshire and is currently taking a Masters in Fine Art at the University of Falmouth, England. Tuppen’s art can be described as both versatile, philosophical, abstract and figurative, focusing on the human being. She paints with deep denominations and works a lot with texture through different techniques. This often results in expressions with connotations to light beyond the visible spectrum. In her abstract work, she explores aspects of our physical laws, such as particles, time, and entropy. Her sculptures are often integrated with wood or other natural materials to explore our role in reality. Through site-specific and temporary sculptures, made from natural materials from the site, she explores entropy. This is done by returning them to their original state. Here the process becomes the important thing. In her photographic work, she often focuses on combining conflicting elements to create new, strange expressions. Through her interest and fascination with physics, she explores our place in reality. How we are entangled with, and subject to, the same physical laws as all other matter, but at the same time a conscious part of it. This is a junction in her art where time and consciousness play central roles. Tuppen has had several solo exhibitions and has been presented in several books and journals.

Dissoul

Young Art Hunters is proud to present 'Dissoul', a revealing exhibition of fragments.

The exhibition, organized in the brand new The YAH Factory art gallery and curated by the Young Art Hunters association, which has always been involved in the promotion of emerging artists, is a collective of nine Italian and international artists who, through the use of their own technique and artistic expression have laid bare, exploring the innermost parts of themselves, dividing their IO into two different but complementary parts.

An unsettling find, a controversial technique, a revealing mirror, a penetrating vision. These are just some of the fragments of spirit that Young Art Hunters hosts in its gallery. In this act of cutting off part of the person, the will to keep veiled traces in the works of art is reported, therefore being able to be in several places at the same time, depending on the distance of the various pieces of oneself; when they are concentrated, as in this case, innumerable aspects can be recognized and all with great expressive power.

The exhibition continues the cycle of exhibitions dedicated to promising young art, always ready to answer the contemporary questions of today's society.
