Giuseppe Rinaldi AKA Perinà, was born in Milan in 1980. After getting his diploma at “Scuola D’Arte del Castello Sforzesco”, he attends some painting private classes to improve his pictorical techniques. In 2001 he starts a collaboration as an illustrator at Mondadori Editore, realizing the covers of sci-fi and thriller novels, such as the series “Urania” and “Segretissimi Gialli Mondadori”. For a few years he collaborates with advertising agencies such as “Armando Testa”, as an editorial illustrator he ranges from natural themes and childhood ones. In 2010 he decides to dedicate himself exclusively to painting. He begins a path of personal research influenced by the great masters of the first Italian Baroque called “Tenebrismo” and, fascinated by the theatrical atmospheres and the dark backgrounds, he bases his pictorial influence. At a later time, he starts studying the impressionists and expressionists up to the first painters of the early 1900. The knowledge of the history of painting and his personal research, leads him to a pictorial synthesis towards a dark chromatic scale which ranges from phtalo green to gray blue until bright red. Perinà currently lives and works in Milan.
