the exhibition

L’esposizione si articola attraverso diverse sezioni, ognuna delle quali aventi come protagonista la figura femminile, soggetto fulcro nell’arte di Annett Gioia.  

Le donne raffigurate dall’artista, sono delle vere e proprie veneri urbane, così intangibili quanto incredibilmente vicine ad ognuna di noi. Sono donne di tutti i giorni dai colori e dalle forme diverse, che silenziose, ci accompagnano lungo un viaggio fatto di emozioni sempre più travolgenti.  

Annett Gioia

Annett Gioia è un’artista che vive e lavora a Francoforte, Germania.  
L’arte è sempre stata una parte importante della sua vita, influenzandola fin dalla prima infanzia, dandole modo di esprimere i suoi sentimenti e le sue emozioni attraverso l’utilizzo di diverse tecniche artistiche. Per lei l’arte è l’opportunità di rendere visibile l’immateriale, lasciando che siano i riferimenti istantanei della realtà a dare forma alle opere.  
 
Annett Gioia ha partecipato a diverse esposizioni collettive e personali tra l’Italia e la Germania, Venuses è la sua prima mostra personale a Milano.

La luce è un elemento fondamentale, che ci guida e ci scorta attraverso il percorso.  
Un bagliore che scopre ed accarezza i corpi nelle loro pose più naturali e nei loro momenti più intimi e quotidiani, rendendo l’osservatore uno spettatore silenzioso di quei gesti e di quelle movenze tanto delicate quanto accattivanti. 
 
La mostra alterna lavori su carta ad oli su tela, creando un collegamento sempre più stretto tra i colori e le donne raffigurate. Alcune figure sono solo abbozzate con chine e matite, altre, si rivelano cariche e sature in corrispondenza alla potente ricerca dietro ad ogni posa.  
Il suo obiettivo è trasmettere la profondità e l’unicità di ogni persona, sia attraverso disegni realistici che con una sintesi di linee essenziali.

Purple Rain

Young Art Hunters è orgogliosa di presentare Purple Rain, la mostra personale dell’artista Luigi Francischello. 
 L’esposizione è un viaggio nella memoria attraverso i diversi personaggi che abitano le tele, figure che appartengono ad un tempo lontano che l’artista reinterpreta in chiave contemporanea con la volontà di aprire un dialogo con i grandi maestri dell’iconografia del passato, ispirandosi alle tavole indiane del xv secolo e alle stampe giapponesi ma anche a Courbet, Botticelli, Waterhouse e Von Stuck.

I soggetti sono rappresentati in modo ieratico e statico, mescolando elementi del passato e del presente, introducendo un’interpretazione distorta e personale della ritrattistica che esplora temi come l’identità, la collettività e offre uno sguardo unico sulla percezione dell’arte.

Il ritratto crea un mondo fittizio, fatto di simboli, figure retoriche, rappresentazioni didascaliche che emergono dal subconscio e vanno a interagire inconsapevolmente e consequenzialmente con l’intento e la narrazione. Viene così creata l’illusione che il campo visivo riveli una logica criptica e nascosta tutta da decodificare.

Purple Rain è un viaggio metaforico all’interno di identità possibili. È la messa in scena vistosa e ridicola che manifesta l’indicibile a garanzia dell’essenziale, della nuda e fredda tangibilità. Ciò che interessa è la monumentalità delle sembianze resa tale dalla tecnica pittorica utilizzata, veloce e istintiva ma al contempo ponderata e meditata.

Ci si addentra in una caverna dove la luce è il dubbio e l’oscurità la certezza di non poter affermare nessuna risposta. Il confine della nostra percezione risiede nella volontà di attraversarlo e varcare nuovi e non ancora scoperti misteri immateriali.

O Osiride, toro dell’Amenti! Thoth, re dell’eternità. Io sono il Dio grande della Barca divina che ha combattuto per te. Io sono uno di quegli dei, i Giudici che operano la giustificazione di Osiride contro i suoi avversari nel giorno in cui vengono pesate le Parole. Io sono un tuo consanguineo, Osiride.

Libro dei morti

Il Duat è una caverna denominata dagli antichi egizi “funeraria”, essa racchiude i più grandi interrogativi che l’antica civiltà si poneva insieme alla speranza in un aldilà che non fosse una fine ma piuttosto, un inizio. Prendendo in considerazione il Duat come luogo-non-luogo senza un tempo specifico, possiamo arricchirci di numerosi interrogativi sulla purezza della materia che abita la grotta, la stessa materia dove l’irresolutezza è il traguardo del percorso che ci permette di comprendere i limiti del genere umano e riconoscere l’importanza delle sorgenti vitali senza abusarne.

Biography

"If it is true, as I think, that the world is an illusion, stories are the only way to dialogue with it, because they are made of the same matter". As a child, huddled in his tiny closet, Davide found in writing a way to do just this: delude himself. Imagine. Create new fictions to enrich his world. And, like this, know himself. Then, for a rather long time, he abandoned himself, lost in the intricate alleys of paths that someone else had drawn for him, too perfect to be his. It would be wrong to say that he has now come out of this labyrinth, and it would be wrong to take it for granted that he will really come out, but surely he has found the tools to seek the way. To "cut his own path". Phrase after phrase. Illusion after illusion.

Biography

Matteo Sanzi was born in Milan in 1997. He studied Physics at university, with a pen in one hand and a novel in the other. After graduating he attended courses in creative writing, poetry, and found a job that has nothing to do with the above: at least it fed him and paid the bills. He keeps a novel, an anthology and a translation of poems from English in his drawer. When he grows up he wants to write for a living; at the moment, he lives for writing.

Like silicon, whose polymorphic chemical composition can take on different connotations depending on perception and the surrounding environment, so the eleven artists in the exhibition address the themes of mystical and physical transformism, developing, just as in the story 'The Metamorphosis', a reflection towards the identification of the problems of contemporary man; such as: the inability of dialogue between people, the incommunicability of one's own needs and the exile of the different.

Hic Et Nunc

the exhibition

Young Art Hunters is proud to present 'Hic Et Nunc', the solo exhibition of artist Gianluca Ripepi. The exhibition is a journey through two series, Gesture-Colour and Mental Landscapes, both of which explore the fundamental theme of time.

The two series, although stylistically different from each other, blend perfectly in a Hic Et Nunc, in the 'here and now', allowing us to observe the moment before its change, in the gesture that has just ended or in a landscape that is waiting to blossom, again.  
The Gesture-Colour series is resolved in a few gestural moments after the preparation of the palette, the Mental Landscapes, on the other hand, mature, evolve, change, oxidise and alter over time as in a real landscape, alluding to an alchemy between the various subjects.  
The title Hic Et Nunc serves precisely to emphasise this theme, proposing to the viewer a journey in the fraction of a second in which the work remains motionless, imperturbable, clashing with the concept of evolution, allowing us to silently enter its world before it can destroy itself to recreate itself.

Gialuca Ripepi

Gianluca Ripepi, born in Domodossola in 1977, began his artistic career as a self-taught artist with the study of classical and Hellenistic sculpture. In 2009, he deepened his education by attending free courses at the Aldo Galli Academy in Como, getting closer and closer to abstract art and participating in several solo and group exhibitions since 2010.

In occasione del primo anniversario della galleria The YAH Factory, Young Art Hunters, realtà da sempre impegnata nella promozione e divulgazione dell’arte emergente, inaugura ‘Morfeo’ una mostra dedicata alla tematica del sogno, reinterpretato secondo la tecnica e lo stile di dieci giovani artisti internazionali, uniti per dare spazio a tutte quelle esperienze che ognuno di noi vive durante la notte e a quelle che sembrano così reali durante il nostro dormiveglia.

E’ una mostra dedicata ai sogni ad occhi chiusi e a quelli nei quali ci perdiamo anche con gli occhi aperti.

Luoghi intimi in cui lo spettatore verrà proiettato senza dover chiedere il permesso, spazi congelati nel tempo così affascinati ed inquietanti da farci chiedere se si tratti di realtà o finzione, di verità o bugia.

Flowing, dripping blood. Blood that takes the pain away with it, giving space to rebirth and blossoming, like the cycle of nature. Different stories of flows forced to remain silent, hidden and untold, now take their space to be able to express themselves without restraint, without secrets or fear of judgment.

Blooming Blood is the union of two projects belonging to two different perspectives, united by feminine delicacy and a passion for analogic photographyLiving bodies that bleed in different contexts, are finally exposed and the flow is alive, natural and finally heard.
The exhibition, in collaboration with the Milano Photofestival, presents two penetrating visions on a dual topic concerning the menstrual cycle andself-harm.

To make these subjects elegant and at the same time intense, the two emerging photographers Alice Brizzi and Giulia Frumpworked together through analogic photography o give voice to testimonies,stories and depersonalized memories of their identities which until now could only remain in silence while now finally shout to the public the sensations they have experienced and continue to experience.

La prima giornata inaugura la sesta edizione di Illustrami, una mostra dedicata all’arte e alla poesia, dove artisti e scrittori si confronteranno su diverse tematiche lasciando che le loro idee si fondano in una performance tra pensieri e colori. L’esposizione e una sessione di poetry slam verranno ospitate nella galleria per l’arte emergente The YAH Factory in via Bramante 13 a Milano.

Il sole si ferma. Quanto è impensabile al giorno d’oggi che il sole si possa fermare e noi no? Eppure c’è, quel giorno all’anno, dove il sole si blocca, creando un istante che sembra durare un’eternità, fondendoci con essa. Young Art Hunters attraverso le opere di quattro artisti internazionali vuole fermarsi col sole, omaggiando la stagione estiva con i suoi colori più vividi macchiati da una nostalgia quasi esoterica che ci cattura ed eleva ad un livello sempre più alto. Vogliamo ammirarlo, celebrarlo e insieme festeggiare quel momento, sentendo il lungo battito del cuore del mondo finché il cielo si tinge di rosa, rosso e d’oro e la stella comincia il ritorno verso l’inverno.

His works are a rhythmic interplay between transparency and inertia. Transparency makes one see through and beyond, while inertia is existence itself. His paintings evade the concept of drawing to indicate a new kind of freedom, like the nature of sound, where transparency and inertia meet. At the right intensity, clarity and frequency, Mahesh's works focus the senses and become a place where music can be heard. This is the art that the artist intends to create. The artist studied the techniques of fine arts as a pure passion to nurture his natural inclination to capture his images on canvas. Skilled in all mediums, he enjoys playing with chiaroscuro as much as he delights in everyday subjects, trying to symbolically represent a simple truth: there is joy in every little thing!

essere condivise con il pubblico per la prima volta in assoluto.

“Ho sempre fotografato per me stessa, ma a questo punto della mia vita volevo condividere viaggi e
momenti ed ecco l’idea di Percorsi, alcuni viaggi, alcuni scatti che hanno suscitato in me delle emozioni,
delle riflessioni, quindi momenti di vita […] momenti di viaggio […] le foto di Percorsi risuonano in qualcosa che
mi appartiene, qualcosa che sono. Quando ho scelto i titoli ho capito quanto mi rappresentassero e ho
lasciato volutamente una seconda riga vuota perché ognuno possa scegliere il proprio titolo ed identificarsi
come ho fatto io.”

Biography

Ego Nauta aka Bruschi Mauro, born in 1979, experimented with photography and studied as a self-taught photographer. He honed his technique from his father, who was passionate about industrial and religious photography. His main influences come from painting, literature and music. Artists such as Edward Hopper and Alessandro Papetti, writers such as Raymond Carver and Cormac Mcarthy and musicians such as the Hammocks and all post-rock music. Ego Nauta's photography is observed through self-analysis in an attempt to describe states of absence, loneliness and silence. He has made photo books that are kept in book crossing points and installations in the same places where he has shot.

Biography

He grew up in Milan in the GAR, Gruppo Artisti Rosetum, and during his youth (1974 - 1985) he acquired his knowledge of tempera and oil techniques by attending the Circolo del Gar and directly in the studios - where he savoured the expressive research - of painters such as Bellé, Suigo and Bianchi. During this period, he exhibited his first oil paintings in various group exhibitions, including 'Arte Strada'. Part of this early production is still in the hands of the author, other parts are in private hands (Taini collection and others).
Since the late 1990s, his artistic production has steadily focused on acrylics (on wood and canvas in medium and large sizes), with a strong research on the intersections between science and art, between harmony and chaos. In this mature period, she exhibited in Via Bagutta (various editions) and in several group exhibitions, including Bardolino in Arte (last edition, 2022). For the past ten years he has supported the Fondazione Arte e Scienza, in memory of Renzo Bergamo; he has supported the Dova family in the promotion of the Dova archive, and maintains stable correspondence with scientists and artists on the themes of chaos, harmony and symmetry (Lanzi, Della Pergola, as well as the late Giorello, Simonelli, Daverio).

Biography

Jane Thompson was born and raised on a farm in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, Australia. An avid explorer, Jane has lived and workded in many places throughout Australia, including Broken Hill, the Kimberleys, Canberra, Sydney and now Brisbane where she lives her with two young children, one husband and one mischievous Beagle. Jane’s artwork is vibrant and full of moving energy. She is inspired and fascinated by the energy we create as human beings through our emotions, our intentions and our experiences. By tapping into the space that exits between thoughts, the active state of creating for Jane is conversely almost meditative, where she allows her sub-conscious to intuitively make the decisions and show her the way. Preferring to paint with no rules, no boundaries, no expectations and no plan of what it should be, the end result is a complete surprise to Jane. Through her brisk approach, deliberate use of contrast and expressive gestural marks, Jane’s art evokes joyful optimism, personal reflection and bold inspiration. Her paintings are colorful, imaginative, expressive and spontaneous. And the process absolutely always involves music.

Biography

Gabriele Scanziani è un pittore contemporaneo svizzero-italiano. È un artista autodidatta con uno stile fortemente personale influenzato da visioni oniriche e da reminiscenze infantili. Possiamo osservare nella sua opera gli studi sulla figura dei protagonisti, con un’attenzione particolare sul volto e il modo in cui pochi tratti possono rappresentare una grande forza di espressione. Le figure sono per lo più collocate su uno sfondo neutro, azzurro, arancione o scuro e in ogni scena, non esistono linee che taglino il piano verticale dello sfondo con quello orizzontale, concentrando l’attenzione dello spettatore principalmente sui personaggi. “Mi affascina osservare come un qualcosa possa trasformarsi dopo aver guardato più da vicino le sue caratteristiche. Cerco di seguire lo stesso principio, usando i dettagli per spingere lo lo spettatore a percepire l’opera d’arte da diverse prospettive”. Nato a Mendrisio, Svizzera, nel 1980, è figlio di uno scrittore e di un insegnante. Suo padre, che aveva 72 anni quando è nato, ha iniziato a soffrire del morbo di Alzheimer quando l’artista aveva 14 anni ed è morto 8 anni dopo. È stato scelto tra gli artisti selezionati del Thomson Art Prize nel 2021 e le sue opere saranno esposte in Europa e negli Stati Uniti durante l’anno 2022.

Biography

Ricky Bordoni was born in Sondrio on April 25, 1992. In 2015, he decided to move to Milan, where he will start his studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, Bordoni lives and works between his adopted city and his hometown.
Time is perhaps the most fascinating mystery that man has not yet managed to solve. The progress of technology has allowed us to have even more accurate tools to measure it, however, man is yet too far from really understanding Time, as well as its implications in everyday life. The world of physics is now unanimous in stating that Time, as we understand it every day, does not exist.
Nevertheless, it is a concept which in human reality is of fundamental importance: we cannot do without it, it is vital for us to carry out our daily actions and it regulates our reality. Present,
past and future are something essential for the human beings, they allow us to understand what is happening around us; wondering what Time really is and how it interacts with us is of primary importance in understanding our role in the cosmos.

Qualcosa ascolto e poi annuso.

Poi assaggio e mi sfiora la pelle.

Ho perso di vista l’Autunno,

cercando una strofa per te.

Mi taglio mentre taglio l’aglio

l’aglio bianco fa un bagno di sangue

sangue rosso cola dalle mani

manicomio e le pareti bianche

bianche e rosse imbrattate di sangue

sangue freddo in un parto cesareo

Cesare è sveglio nasce da un taglio

e i coltelli

nella schiena.

Sterile e azzurro telone

imbrunisce lieve,

nascondendo i riflessi,

pervenuti quaggiù dall’altrove.

Spirito cieco

di un’anima sorda,

non capisce ma, solo, sente

fiocchi di neve di niente.

Pioggia da un’altra dimensione.

L’impressione che una goccia,

per sbaglio, mi tocca

e mi ricorda Maggio.

Il Liquido cola, scende come la pioggia

e allaga la loggia.

diventa una doccia.

Calendula per le mie ferite,

è concessa, ora che la guerra finisce.

Almeno, finché il dolore

non si schiarisce nella cicatrice.

Calendula ancora,

perché mi brucio ogni volta.

Dentro le fiamme, la scuola,

per studiare ci si ustiona.

Claudia candida, che mi guarisce

con la sua parola, con le mani lisce.

Calotta cranica – la mia s’è rotta

e, vulcanica, sgorga la forza creatrice.

Latte di Claudia, che bagna

le mie rive di magma.

La spiaggia ormai è pan di spagna.

Claudia ridendo, ha montato la panna.

Biography

Alessandro Maccari, classe ‘97, cresciuto fra le bellezze della campagna toscana ad un colle di distanza da Leonardo Da Vinci. La bellezza è eternamente ricercata, nel cucinare parole ed emozioni nel calderone della mente, con le fiamme docili del cuore. Alessandro non sa cosa vuole, non sa chi è, ma lo vuole scoprire. Dai racconti, ai pensieri, alle canzoni, poi diari, incipit di libri, alla fine Asia gli disse di scrivere poesie e lui lo fece. A gennaio 2021 inconsciamente nasceva “Tiepido”, il primo figlio, il primo libro. Fuori dal 31 gennaio 2022, non si trova in giro.
